Round the World Trip

On October, 29 2007 we started for our long planned Round the World Trip which should last till March, 11 2008. It was the third time we went to Australia and the first time for the South Sea.

After one week each for Bali and Java we continued to Western Australia. In Perth we met Herbert and Fay Seeberger, who came to Australia more than 50 years ago.
From Perth we drove with a motorhome northbound to the Karijini Ntl. Park, west to the coast and then following the coastline south via Coral Bay/Exmouth, Monkey Mia, Kalbarri Ntl. Park, Pinnacles, Perth, Margaret River, Esperance. From there the southcoast over the Nullarbor Plains, Eucla to Adelaide. We spent Christmas on a houseboat on the Murray River, and continued through the Grampians, Great Ocean Road to Melbourne, where we stayed three weeks.
After a five day stop in Sydney we flew to New Zealand where we discovered the South Island for four weeks with a motorhome.
Next highlight was two weeks on Fiji, including one week on a small cruise ship through the Mamanucas and Yasawas.
Last part of this trip was Cook Islands where we spent two weeks, including a four days visit to Aitutaki, a small coral island, in one hour flight distance.
Flight back to cold Germany via Los Angeles.

So far the overlook. If you want to see pictures of these wonderful countries download about 600 pictures (abt. 38 MB PDF-file) at:

These pictures and more you can download for each part of the trip. Dont wonder about the size of the files, but the beauty of the countries, especially the sunsets are worth to look at them. We wish you a lot of fun.
